Why can’t I find a girl that likes nerdy stuff, that likes similar movies, and that listens to punk rock and any other alternative music? A girl that likes Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Stanley Kubrick movies, to name a few. A girl with a similar sense of humor to the one I have. Why can’t I get any girl that I like in general? Why!?! haha

Yeah, I am…probably. I was originally gonna to the one in San Diego, since I live in San Diego county, but it’s at the Casbah which is 21+ and my younger sister won’t be able to go because she’s not old enough…they’re one of her favorite bands…besides her, I don’t know anyone else who likes the Horrors or would wanna go with me…so, we’re more than likely gonna go to the one at the Glass House in Pomona…hopefully. Are you gonna go to any of ‘em?
5.8? Pshh, noobs! I remember that last year on Easter we had a magnitude 7.2 earthquake and people were trippin’ balls. It was pretty gnarly. There was hysteria. There were people saying that the “end” is near because it happened during Easter…haha…anyways, hope everyone’s alright.
In my opinion, they limit oneself to the ideals, image, stigma, and whatnot of those labels. I don’t need nor do I want any of that. I’ve been labeled and have labeled myself many things in the past, and in retrospect, they’re all meaningless. The only labels I need are my name, “brother”, “son”, “grandson”, “cousin”, “nephew”, “friend”, “me”, “myself”, and “I”.
It’s my day off, I’ve got nothing planned, my roommate is not gonna be home for most of the day, my friends are probably gonna be busy, and I still don’t have a girlfriend…ugh…it’s still early in the day, so something could come up later today…hopefully.
I made a Horrors/Cat’s Eyes playlist on my ipod a while back and I recently added “Skying” to it. The playlists is an accumulation of all the Horrors albums, including the EP, placed in chronological order followed by the Cat’s Eyes album (I do this with all the bands whose discography I have, make a playlist, that is). Anyways, I was listening to “Strange House” on my “sound system” in my room, but I was hella tired, so I decided to take a nap with the albums “Primary Colours” and “Skying” playing in the background. I closed my eyes when “Mirror’s Image” was on and woke up when “Oceans Burning” was on. I was actually half-awake throughout the whole thing so I heard all the songs and I got some rest. It was awesome.
